Bella is a wonderful, friendly cat. She is loving and outgoing. When she came to us she was scared and was hiding the first week. We gave her the time she needed, making sure she had water, food and access to a litter box. After about a week Bella started to relax. In no time she showed us her true personality – bright, affectionate, active, but not too active. She loves to drink from a faucet and runs to the bathroom the moment she hears the door open. If she is not in the bathroom, you will find her basking in the sun or rubbing all over you wanting some love. Bella loves people, likes other cats and doesn’t mind the dogs.

Hope was rescued from a local shelter where she was on the euthanasia list. Her eye was in a very bad condition. It was suggested by the shelter that it should be removed. There was no need for removal – antibiotics and eye drops did the trick.

Hope grew stronger and healthier by the day. She is a confident, independent kind of kitty that loves to play and hunt. She does not enjoy being held but if you want to play with her, she will do it for hours. She loves to ‘hunt’ and everything in the house is a potential toy. And when she gets tired, she loves to snuggle next to you.

She loves other cats and large dogs. She was never around kids or small dogs, but if she sees a big dog all she wants to do is to either play with their tail or rub next to them. She would make a wonderful companion for a kitty with a similar temperament.

She does not have much luck on adoption events, because she gets scared and starts hissing and scratching. But all she needs is time. Remember that it is common for a cat to need a week to feel safe somewhere new and unfamiliar. She is perfectly happy and content in her foster home, and she gets along with everyone.

Are you the family for Hope?

Princess Digital Ducky (Ducky for short) is amazing. She was rescued from a local shelter where she was on the euthanasia list. She had URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) and is missing a radius bone in the front right leg. Her infection is long gone, but nothing can be done about the bone. But missing a bone does not slow Ducky any!

Ducky is a very sweet, loving girl that gets along everyone – people, cats and dogs. Ducky is a 5 month old kitten. She is missing a radius bone in her front leg, but she compensates beautifully and the leg does not bother her any. She is a very active and playful kitten. She’s very beautiful and pictures don’t do her justice. Ducky is looking for her forever home. She is very active and playful and would do best with another cat(s) in the household. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FeLV negative.

UPDATE: Ducky was adopted on11/21/12!

Pumpkin is a very special kitty – loving, laid back and cute as a button. He has a wonderful personality and just needs to feel safe and loved to blossom. He can be a little skittish when scared, but relaxes when he feels safe. He is very loving and loves to cuddle. He loves people, other cats and is fine with big dogs (he has not been around small dogs or children).

He was rescued from a local shelter where he was on the euthanasia list. There was nothing wrong with him, unless you consider cuteness a disease.  He was a little scared, and latched on to me as his surrogate mother. He is now a healthy and happy boy – neutered and vaccinated. He still suckles on me periodically – a soothing mechanism that he developed because he lost his real momma way too early. It’s nothing if not endearing.

Pumpkin is now looking for his forever home. Please  open your heart and home to this lovely, sweet boy.

Pumpkin when rescued.
Pumpkin now…
… and now again.
UPDATE: 10/2/12 Pumpkin got adopted today. Thank you Lori for providing a wonderful home for this sweet boy.
