Simone found herself homeless after her owner could no longer take care of her. She is approx. 14 years old and in great shape. She’s petite and missing a tail (which she lost when she was a kitten) that is completely healed and does not bother her any. She is very sweet and loves to snuggle. She will follow you and cry for attention. She loves to snuggle next to you, she loves be held and carried in your arms and she loves to be petted. She’s sweet and very pretty. She does not look her age at all!

She tolerates dogs, but tries to stay away from them. She tolerates other cats, but she does not engage in play. She mostly ignores them. She’s very people oriented.

Dennis is a 12 year old Main Coon mix. He found himself homeless after his owner could no longer take care of him. Dennis is not used to dogs, but he can tolerate them if they do not bother him. He tolerates some cats, but not too many, and would prefer to be the only cat.

He is a big, fluffy boy that is vocal, friendly and likes to be petted. He would love to find a loving, forever home where he can live happily for the rest of his life. Even though 12 years old might sound like a lot, 12 years old is not that old for a kitty. It’s not uncommon for cats to live until 18-20 years old.

Dennis does not show his age. He loves to bask in the sun, climb places, hide in the most unexpected places (as most cats do ) and is easily amused by a cardboard box. He likes to play and be petted, but he does not really like to be held for a long time.

Clive was rescued from a local shelter where he was on the euthanasia list. He is a beautiful cat that gets along with everyone. He’s laid back but likes to play with people and other cats. He would make the perfect companion for another kitty. He is a strictly indoor cat. He is neutered, up to date on shots and ready for his forever home.

Ninja is a two year old boy that is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is a big boy, currently weighing 16 lbs. He is big and cuddly. His personality is of a big teddy bear kind. He gets along with both cats and dogs and is laid back enough to let kittens ‘nurse’ on him. He can twist and bend into the oddest of poses – he is a never-ending source of entertainment.

Thunder was rescued from an abusive situation. She was pregnant at a time, unfortunately due to the abuse during pregnancy, none of her kittens survived. She is now spayed and vaccinated. Thunder is approx. 5 years old. She is very human oriented, but does not like other cats. She would prefer to be the only cat, or at least have enough space of her own not to be bothered by other cats (they tend to pick on her). She is very loving and quite the purrer. She loves to cuddle and be petted. Her little ‘motor’ turns on the second you touch her.

Bella is a wonderful, friendly cat. She is loving and outgoing. When she came to us she was scared and was hiding the first week. We gave her the time she needed, making sure she had water, food and access to a litter box. After about a week Bella started to relax. In no time she showed us her true personality – bright, affectionate, active, but not too active. She loves to drink from a faucet and runs to the bathroom the moment she hears the door open. If she is not in the bathroom, you will find her basking in the sun or rubbing all over you wanting some love. Bella loves people, likes other cats and doesn’t mind the dogs.

Hope was rescued from a local shelter where she was on the euthanasia list. Her eye was in a very bad condition. It was suggested by the shelter that it should be removed. There was no need for removal – antibiotics and eye drops did the trick.

Hope grew stronger and healthier by the day. She is a confident, independent kind of kitty that loves to play and hunt. She does not enjoy being held but if you want to play with her, she will do it for hours. She loves to ‘hunt’ and everything in the house is a potential toy. And when she gets tired, she loves to snuggle next to you.

She loves other cats and large dogs. She was never around kids or small dogs, but if she sees a big dog all she wants to do is to either play with their tail or rub next to them. She would make a wonderful companion for a kitty with a similar temperament.

She does not have much luck on adoption events, because she gets scared and starts hissing and scratching. But all she needs is time. Remember that it is common for a cat to need a week to feel safe somewhere new and unfamiliar. She is perfectly happy and content in her foster home, and she gets along with everyone.

Are you the family for Hope?
